The Active View – WEB-Based Management Portal for Active Track
On its own, a product can attain limited success. Imagine if Apple had a strong line-up of iPhones but without iCloud storage. While it would have been successful to an extent, adding the iCloud feature extended its functionality.
On the same note, we present to you Active View, a Web-based management portal for Active Track that takes the latter to the next level.
What is Active View?
Active View empowers the existing Active Track devices. Active Track devices assist with its wide range of features like two-way voice communication, GPS tracker, RFID reader, Call me button, & more.
Active View allows fast deployment of multiple Active Track devices to track work, keep the workers safe & provide reliable data. This web-based portal eases how the user interacts & keeps track of Active Track devices.
Let us dig deeper to uncover useful features of Active View.
Features:
Track Proof of Presence
Active track workers can use their RFID reader to read tags (checkpoints) placed in an area. By reading a tag, they provide proof of presence that they were at that location & finished the pending task. This could be the proof of a completed patrol, proof of a maintenance run—the applications are innumerable. But what about if the user needs detailed proof?
This is where Active View kicks in to support. The user can track when checkpoints were accessed, by which device, along with the device ID & name of the operator. All this is collected & stored for easy access.
Real-time Monitoring
Using Active Track devices is great for lone workers like patrol workers. With Active View support, users can keep track of all patrol workers in real-time on the most reliable—Google Maps. This serves a dual purpose as the user can-
- Track if the workers are slacking off or deviating from their route
- Track if any worker is in danger while on patrol
The user can configure both set & flexible patrol routes & get information of all workers currently on duty.
Configure Man-down Alarm
Apart from monitoring a worker’s route in real-time for safety, the user can also use Active View to configure man-down alarm for the Active track devices.
This is done by configuring the default parameters of the devices before dispatch. If the device takes a big deviation from the set parameters & stay in that position for a duration of time, it will send a notification to the designated mobile phone in the control room.
Adept Reporting
Active View has an integrated report generator that compiles all the data in the system to produce accurate & understandable reports. These reports can also be scheduled to send it to a designated person/group of people once or on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
The reports are in the popular CSV format & can be exported easily from this management portal.
Despite all these excellent features, Active View remains simple to understand & use. It can give multi-level access to users & doesn’t need a static public IP address to use.
