A Complete Guide Of Guard Patrol System
Patrolling is a common factor in the security, cleaning and maintenance industries. It is a simple yet important activity of keeping watch over a particular area by walking on or around it. Patrol guards take up this duty and a guard patrol system works to ensure that they execute their duties as planned.
Guard Patrol System by Guard Patrol Products
Our guard patrol system has a wide range of applications and uses a combination of some of our best products. Each guard has a predetermined route to patrol, which includes stops, the nature of which depends on the business itself.
For instance: A cleaning company using this system can chart a route covering all the major cleaning points in the area, whereas a security company can use this to make sure all checkpoints are locked and secured. This system monitors and records the route, along with all the checks they did systematically.
Now that you know what it is, let’s understand how our patrol management system works while looking at its components.
RFID Checkpoints
RFID devices use electromagnetic fields to identify and track objects. These tags are placed throughout the patrol route at specific places commonly known as checkpoints.
Our tags come in red and black colours that you can use to separate areas based on importance. Each RFID device has a microchip with a unique serial number that can be registered within the patrol management software. These can be fixed on any surface using its self-adhesive back, wall mount, or security screw. Keeping versatility in mind, we have an event book that houses up to 8 customizable tags to report events on the go.
Data Readers
Data readers work closely with the RFID checkpoints and touch buttons. It is used to receive the electromagnetic shifts produced by the tags and understand them to transfer data.
We have a variety of readers to suit your specific requirements. While all RFID tag readers have a robust design with waterproofing and IP67 rating, specific variants have features like man-down alarm, walkie talkie (over Wi-Fi), internal pedometer, fingerprint authentication & more. They also have an in-built battery to complete multiple checks on a single charge, an LED flashlight for patrolling at night and an internal alarm clock that can store 200 pre-set alarms to prompt guards to perform patrols.
Secure Fixings
The checkpoints and touch buttons have a range of mounting options to use on any surface.
Made of stainless steel, our secure fixings are sturdy and can be used in places where durability is desired. We offer pin Torx security screws with bits, double-sided sticky pads, and a magnetic hex screwdriver bit holder.
Starter Kits
As many of the components in a patrol system depend on the other, we offer starter kits that have everything you need to set up a patrol route with ease.
They differ in specifics, but most of them have a combination of touch-button checkpoints, a data reader, charging cable necessary to secure fixings, and our state-of-the-art patrol management software.
Choose one or a mixture of components to build your perfect guard patrol system. Regardless of what you opt for, our patrol management software makes tracking and reporting easy.
